i can’t keep an outdoor plant alive to save my life.
i struggled in washington, too.
but give me an indoor plant… i’ll forget to water it and the thing will still live.
and i’m not really even trying here in arizona – i don’t enjoy it and it’s not worth the effort to me. that’s why i’m thankful for friends AND for family members who enjoy gardening. and are good at it. like grandma. and uncle arnie.
would you like to take a walk through grandma’s garden with me?
people playing and laughing and chatting and having fun…
it’s a pretty rockin’ garden/back yard.
but not to be outdone by his mother in law, i think uncle arnie would like it if you took a walk around his garden, too:
(yes, that’s a real pay phone. no, it’s not connected. yes, it’s in uncle arnie’s garden).
(yes, that’s a real parking meter. no, it’s not connected. yes, it’s in uncle arnie’s garden).
with so much open space, arnie & ibbie’s back yard is a great spot for games. soccer, ten ball, colors, gymnastics, dancing, races, laughing, exercising, sweating, catching fire flies and so much more!
