it’s a girl? (edited)

 friday: april 11th

okay. seriously, melissa, i was CONVINCED you were having a boy. so were you. then again, i was CONVINCED carrilee was having a girl…. so apparently i’m not so hot at guessing correctly, though i was right with my davey – maybe it’s different when it’s your own?

back on track… today carrilee and i are heading into bellingham to meet the newest addition to our church and playgroup…. BETHANY ROSE TABERT, who was FINALLY born last night at 10:26 p.m. i hear she weighed in at 8 pounds 8 ounces and is over 20 inches long (either 1/4 or 3/4 over – i can’t remember which). melissa, i know you had to wait almost a WEEK past your due date to meet her, but aren’t you glad she’s here?!  :)

hopefully i’ll be able to edit this post later today with a photo or two…. as long as i remember my camera!

oh yeah. yesterday, carrilee and i went into town (bellingham) to run some errands. she took me to this new place called The Auction House. seriously great deals. you need furniture? go there. it’s a furniture liquidation store (and it’s just like a store – not an auction, i promise)… tons of GOOD stuff in there for AWESOME deals. it’s tucked in behind the Golf Shop (whatever the name of it is) on the Guide. i really don’t WANT to tell any of you about it b/c i want to save all the good deals for myself, but i just had to share, especially since i walked out of there empty handed yesterday, even though i was tempted to buy SO. MANY. THINGS!

happy friday!

here’s a photo of sweet little Bethany Rose:

  1. Hooray for Bethany and her mom and dad! I can’t wait to meet this new little gal. I also can’t wait to see the smiles on her grandparents’ faces…what a deal to be the first grandchild on both sides of the fam!
